Do not add privacy fabric to an existing rental fence without approval. Screening changes how the installation reacts to wind. Similarly, the heaviest-looking panel is not automatically the right choice for a sloping or exposed site. Ask the installer to specify supports for the actual surface and conditions, and identify who will inspect or reset the fence after site activity or severe weather.
Put gates and delivery access on the drawing
Mark the trailer, storage container, parking, delivery approach and pedestrian route on a simple plan. Include gate swing areas and the space vehicles need to turn. A gate that is wide enough for a pickup may still be unsuitable for the truck delivering an office trailer. Confirm the delivery sequence with both suppliers before closing the perimeter.
Separate routine pedestrian access from equipment movements where the layout allows. Keep the approach to steps and ramps clear rather than running fence feet or gate hardware through the entrance route. Emergency access and required exits also need to remain usable. Perimeter fencing does not replace task-specific fall protection, excavation protection or traffic control; those are separate parts of the contractor’s site plan.
What changes a temporary fence rental price?
Compare installed totals for the same length, height, duration and number of gates. A low panel rental figure can look very different once delivery, installation, removal and accessories are included. Short projects can carry a substantial mobilization cost relative to the rental itself. Longer projects deserve a clear monthly extension rate and written instructions for stopping billing.
