Leave enough room for the complete approach
The entrance footprint can be considerably larger than the doorway. A straight approach may work on an open site, while a turning arrangement may better fit a constrained area. Neither should be chosen solely because it appears smaller in a product photograph. Check the path, landing positions and ground conditions before committing the trailer to its final location.
On a campus with temporary classrooms, the approach must work with the movement of students and staff. At a jobsite office, vehicle movements, mud and stored materials deserve particular attention. Keep temporary fencing, container doors and deliveries out of the access route. A good drawing makes those conflicts visible before installation day.
Compare materials and installation responsibilities
Suppliers may offer aluminum or steel systems, with different decking, rail and support details. Compare suitability, handling, maintenance and the expected length of use rather than selecting by material name alone. Ask about surface performance in the conditions your site experiences, and confirm how water, snow or debris will be managed during occupancy.
The quotation should name the party measuring the site, installing the system and making adjustments if final elevations differ. Ground preparation and the access equipment itself may be separate scopes. Temporary use is not a reason to leave supports, connections or inspection responsibilities undefined.

Request installed ramp pricing for the required configuration. Comparing a basic stair price with a full ramp-and-platform installation produces a misleading result. Separate equipment rental or purchase from delivery, installation, site preparation and eventual removal. Coordinate those costs with your office rental or purchase decision.
