Place desks, chairs and storage on the drawing. Allow for cabinet doors, visitors and movement through the entrance. A room that technically holds every item may still be frustrating to use when somebody needs to reach the files during a meeting.
Where width is the problem, compare a 12x32 mobile office instead of simply ordering a longer narrow trailer. A restroom or enclosed room also changes the usable layout, so specify those requirements before requesting prices.
How do you fit an office onto a tight site?
Give the supplier current site photographs rather than relying on an old drawing alone.
Draw the space outside the building as carefully as the space inside. Include the entrance arrangement, nearby parking, utility routes and the area needed for delivery. A trailer may fit its final position while the transport equipment cannot reach it.
Discuss office access equipment early. Do not reserve a building on the assumption that its footprint includes the ramp or steps. Coordinate the entrance with pedestrian routes and temporary fence gates so the office remains practical after the compound is enclosed.
Keep bulky materials outside the working area. A separately planned site storage container can free office space, but include its own delivery position and access needs. Two smaller products are not automatically easier to place than one larger arrangement.

Compare complete proposals, including delivery and the required term. An available neighboring size may meet the same needs, but ask providers to identify the exact alternative. Avoid comparing a building-only rate with a package that includes furniture, entrance equipment or installation.
